Smoot is the electric motorcycle brand of PT.SMOOT MOTOR INDONESIA. Supported by SWAP Group, the largest battery swapping service provider in Southeast Asia. Smoot is also the first smart electric motorcycle in Indonesia to support the battery swap system. The Smoot electric vehicle was first exposed on Smoot’s official social media on December 27, 2022.

GESITS is one of the earliest local electric vehicle brands established in Indonesia. The brand was co-founded by the Indonesian Garasindo Group and the Indonesian public university ITS (Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember). GESITS electric motorcycles are manufactured by PT WIKA Industri Manufaktur (WIMA), which also has very professional experience in the Indonesian motorcycle assembly industry.
It is also the first local manufacturer in Indonesia to engage in the production and manufacturing of electric motorcycles, which is of great significance to the development of Indonesia’s two-wheeled electric vehicle industry. After the brand was launched, it also received strong support and praise from Indonesian President Joko.
According to relevant data, the GESITS brand two-wheeled electric vehicles have 162 parts, about 85% of which are produced locally in Indonesia. The current local content ratio (TKDN) of GESITS products is approximately 46.73%, which meets the requirements to participate in the electric vehicle subsidy program launched by the policy.
